Bio

Julie Davies is a novelist from Central Queensland, whose spectrum of work is as broad as her life experience. She has had a chequered career, ranging from farm labourer to environmental scientist, and political minder to human rights advocate. In the four years she has been writing creatively, she has completed one contemporary drama novel and is well into another. Julie writes short stories to keep herself motivated enough to cope with the inevitable rejections from traditional publishers. She has written over forty stories across a range of genres, with 28 published in print anthologies and literary journals, many of those now also published online with TAT.
