Bio

A Queensland Bush poet with many strings to his bow. He is also a lyricist, plays guitar, does stage shows, was President of the Australian Bush Poets Association for many years, is a pretty mean photographer and amongst other things too numerous to mention now has his own little radio spot from 10 pm to midnight on Brisbane 100.3BayFM – http://www.bayfm.org.au/ Mannie also has a wicked sense of humour – born of Russian born Latvian and Polish born German parents he can recite his poetry with the thickest European accent you will ever hear. According to him he is one hundred percent mongrel bred, and Australian by choice. His writings and clips very much reflect the real Mannie – some are hilarious others deeply sensitive and others purely insightful.
